Characters Batman [Terry McGinnis]; Blight [Derek Powers]; Bruce Wayne; Akira Batman [Terry McGinnis]; Blight [Derek Powers]; Bruce Wayne; Akira
Synopsis After a semi carrying the nuclear chemical Yostrium is forced off the road by would-be hijackers, Terry must save the team of specialists sent to recover the chemicals. But he encounters at the site Derek Powers, now the radioactive villain calling himself Blight, who makes off with the Yostrium. Back at the Batcave, connecting this theft to an earlier theft of Xanthalium, Bruce theorizes that Blight is collecting three radioactive chemicals which in combination could be a powerful weapon. The final chemical, Zeliconium, can only be found in Bludhaven, which has been cordoned off for years due to a spill at the Outer Bludhaven nuclear plant. Using tunnels secretly installed under Bludhaven years ago by Bruce, Terry enters the plant, after meeting the outcasts who still live in the tunnels. There, he finds Blight about to steal the Zeliconium. Terry renders the chemical inert, but fails to capture Blight. Later Terry returns to the tunnels under Bludhaven to help the outcasts. When Terry must save a team of specialists sent to the scene of a chemical spill, he encounters Derek Powers, now calling himself Blight, who makes off with radioactive Yostrium. Connecting this theft to an earlier theft of Xanthalium, Bruce theorizes that Blight is collecting chemicals for a powerful weapon. The final necessary chemical, Zeliconium, can only be found in Bludhaven, which has been cordoned off for years. Using secret tunnels under Bludhaven, Terry enters the plant and finds Blight about to steal the Zeliconium. Terry renders the chemical inert, but fails to capture Blight.
