Notes Jory Braden [The Texan] is the ace man-hunter of the Texas Rangers. Jory Braden [The Texan] is the ace man-hunter of the Texas Rangers.
Lorence Bjorklund is credited to this story by JVJon at Digtal Comics Museum, and the artwork is identical to the many stories in "Tex Granger", where he had all the covers, and "The Hawk". He can be identified by his longfaced fine horses and broadbrimmed hats. Also the human faces, and his drop-over gunholsters with two straps across.

Notes The reprint has different colors, and the title has changed. It is also signed "Larsen" in the original. Howard Larsen can be identified by the 3/4 front view of bi-characters faces usually with prominent chin and potato nose and heavy black shadow underneath.
