A teenaged Luthor is depicted with thinning hair, this tale pre-dates the story "How Luthor Met Superboy" (Adventure Comics (DC Series 1938) #271 April 1960). In this later issue Lex is shown losing a full head of hair in a laboratory accident, it is this version of events that is recognised as an integral part of the Silver Age Luthor/Superboy story.

Synopsis In another dimension, Green Arrow and Speedy meet GA's counterpart Xeen Arrow and discover that due to a passing comet, a gateway to their dimension has opened up, and the mysterious giant arrows they encountered on Earth are merely children's toys from this other dimension which have passed through the gateway. The mystery solved, Xeen Arrow shoots them back to Earth through the gateway before it closes.
