Synopsis
In a world where vampires are a subculture of American life with all of the rights and privileges this entails, Zombie reanimator Anita Blake is asked by one of the undead to investigate murder among his kind. She declines as she refuses to work for vampires. In fact, among the bloodsuckers, she has been dubbed "The Executioner" as she has killed so many who have broken the law. Anita and her two gal-pals have a bachelorette party at Guilty Pleasures, a vampire strip club, where one of Anita's best friends is brought under a vampire's spell. Trying to resolve the situation, Anita is attacked.
