He returns transformed into a superhuman by a sentient ship designed to transverse alternate universes. The ship crash-landed on earth millions of years ago and has asked Wilder for help getting home. Wilder agrees to help and search out the other six superhumans needed to pilot the ship, with Planetary's help.

But the Four miss their targets, and Planetary's 3 field agents prepare to retaliate.

- Synopsis
- After a near chance meeting between the two groups, Planetary decides to break into the Authority's headquarters to download the information stored there. Meanwhile, the Authority investigates the caves of the Adirondacks where Doc Brass' multiverse computer resides. When a corrupt technician turns it on, earth is invaded by marauding robots. The two groups unknowingly work together to defeat the menace.
