A town clerk, Adam Twilby, is besotted by Walt Trigger, and is told, "Every man's cut out for his own job." Twilby decides he's cut out, and dresses like a Trigger Twin. Interfering with Walt's pursuit of a gang, he knocks over a wasp's nest and lands both in a borax bin! They'll be dumped off a mountain as Wayne comes to the rescue - of TWO Trigger sheriffs - so there are THREE! He grabs the two blinded fighters, swings high, and dumps borax on the crooks. Twilby's learned his lesson. "Clothes do NOT make a sheriff!"
Credits for script and pencils confirmed from Julius Schwartz's editorial records, provided by DC Comics. The records show that Andru was also paid for the inks on this story, but scholars believe Mike Esposito to be the actual inker.
