Synopsis

In 1848, Nadia inherits a wealthy Hungarian estate, but her estate manager runs off with money that was supposed to pay for the land taxes. When an Austrian officer offers to forgive the land tax in exchange for her favors, she refuses and is taken prisoner. While on her way to prison along with gypsy captives, an ambush frees the prisoners and Nadia lives among the gypsies to avoid the authorities.

Synopsis

Fred and his fianee are so busy with work, night classes and family visits that they never seem to have time for each other. She finally puts her foot down and demands that he take a day off from work so they can spend some time together. She has a romantic day of activities planned for them, but they soon discover that they don't share similar interests and decide to end their relationship.
