Most of this issue's Let's Get into a Huddle is devoted to the death of former Scorchy Smith artist Bert Christman after a combat mission against the Japanese over Rangoon, Burma, as a member of the Flying Tigers. Accounts his comic career and eventually his combat missions leading to his death.
Includes a reprints of one of Christman's Scorchy Smith strips and a drawn portrait of the artist (uncredited, perhaps by Christman?). Gives on sale information for Reg'lar Fellers Heroic Comics (Eastern, 1940 series) #14 and the next issue of Famous Funnies.
