Synopsis

Growing up with five brothers, Sally had learned judo. Now when her dates move in to kiss her, she instinctively throws them with a judo move. To learn to be more feminine, her flatmate gets her to sign up for a three week course in the Fanny Russell School of Deportment.

Note at the end of the last story page is a letter from the editor explaining the publisher was increasing the price from one shilling to 1/3d per issue, but that there would be 8 extra pages in each issue. The extra pages in each issue would typically allow for a story reprinted from one of the publisher's weekly magazine-sized series like Valentine, modified to fit in the digest-size format of this series.

Synopsis

Anita, the office manager was hated by all the girls, but her attitude seems to soften when Cliff joins the firm. However, one day Peggy slips on the mat and falls into Cliff's arms. He takes the opportunity to kiss her, but Anita sees them and runs out of the office. Peggy is later notified that Anita is ill and won't be fit for work for at least six months. But now Cliff starts becoming a tyrant at the office.
