- Synopsis
- Jennifer is in love with an American army officer who promises to marry her when she follows him to New York. Her boss, who wants her happiness, arranges for her to accompany him on the same ship that her fiance is sailing on. On board, as she approaches Paul to surprise him with the news, she overhears him talking to a friend and realizes he was just using her in England and had no intention of marrying her. Things get worse when Paul is found dead and Jennifer is accused of killing him.
