Synopsis:
The wife of gladiator Gracchus urges him to rebell against Crassius and his outright thievery of the people's money. Gracchus kills Crassius, then flees with Ledra to her Uncle's town, where they will be safe. Unknown to anyone, on August 24, 79 A.D., that town, Pompeii, was destroyed by an eruption of a volcano, and everyone died.

It is interesting that the Who's Who lists Powell are drawing this feature in 1966, not in 1957, but the art on this story is definitely by Powell.
