Synopsis:
Perry sends Jimmy to the South American country of Peccador, to investigate rumors of a "flying man" that sounds suspiciously like Superman. After arriving, he discovers the tyrannical rule of Bullboa, and the hero of the people, "Super-Senor." Super-Senor is actually Pedro, a self-declared peon, who, assisted by his son Pancho, creates the illusion of a super guardian for Peccador, in an attempt to bring down Bullboa. But it takes help from Jimmy and his Super-pal to make this a reality.

Synopsis:
In a flashback story, on the day Jimmy first arrives in Metropolis he agrees to be the test subject for a time vehicle that sends him back to Krypton's past, where he meets Jor-El and Lara and becomes Kal-El's baby-sitter. In that capacity, he protects the family from the Science Police and allows Kal-El's rocket to be launched. Upon his return to the Metropolis, Jimmy loses all recollection of his trip. But Superman, with his perfect memory, remembers Jimmy and when they meet again as adults, Superman tells Jimmy that he has lined up a job as cub reporter for the Daily Planet for him, and presents him with the signal watch.
