- Synopsis
- Jeff's father owns nearly half of the town and his family doesn't think Zena is suitable for him. Zena's parents don't want her to see Jeff because his father had driven her father out of business when they were kids. But they see each other anyway. Zena knew Jeff was weak but she persuaded him that they should run away together on the last morning of their holiday. When the day comes, it is Brian who shows up at the beach, not his brother Jeff.

- An old customer Sue is serving utters some incoherent clues about a treasure before being taken away in an ambulance. Another customer talks with Anne about the incident when her jealous boyfriend arrives. After the boyfriend leaves, reporters show up and take a picture of Anne and the customer with his arm around her shoulder. Then she realizes her boyfriend will be furious when he sees the picture in the newpaper.
