- The more Susan thinks about the anonymous letter she received, the more she thinks Charles owes her an explanation about Mary Banks. Larry asks permission to escort Susan to a bingo session, but the weather becomes much worse and the tossing of the ship makes her feel ill. When the rocking of the ship knocks over Charles' photo and it gets smashed, she wonders if it is an omen for her and Charles.
