Synopsis
Hilo's naïvete, combined with his encyclopedic fictitious backstory, bewilders everyone at school. The boys visit Gina at her new home, where they find her frustrated because her family discourages her special interests, such as astronomy. Hilo assembles her telescope -- usually a two-hour job -- in minutes.
Sensing trouble, Hilo rushes to the site of another impact, where he is confronted by a giant robot. Memory returns as he flies and uses lasers to protect his friends. But the RANT keeps reassembling itself, repeatedly hammering Hilo until D. J. pushes it off a cliff to its destruction. Rushing to Hilo's side, D. J. and Gina discover that Hilo too is a robot, and that he's been dismantled in the combat.

J. and Gina to safety, then attacks despite his fears. Destroying the robots, he returns to his own world, once again to face Razorwark.
