Joe Simon's "My Life in Comics" states that he drew the covers to issues 1 - 3 of this series, but art spotter Jim Vadeboncoeur, Jr. disagrees for this issue, saying that Bob Powell is a possibility but there's not enough to the cover to say for certain.
Does not appear to be the same artist who did Spirit of '76 in issue #1.
