Challengers of the Unknown [Ace Morgan; Rocky Davis; Prof Haley; Red Ryan]; Amazonian natives; Hinton (villain); Jarvis (villain)
Synopsis:
The Challengers hunt two lost explorers, Hinton and Jarvis. The two men stagger from the jungle under a spell. “ We are servants of Xechulan! And only gold will satisfy his wrath!" They fling magic that makes the ground explode and pots of water geyser. They grab gold artifacts - including a sacred shield - and disappear in red smoke. The Challengers split up and follow. Ace and Rocky lose the trail and return. Ace examines the scorched cauldron. Hinton and Jarvis return with amnesia! Not long after, Red and Prof rush the village: they’ve been turned INTO gold head to toe! They magically fling spears, grab more artifacts, and rush off. Hinton and Jarvis are astonished: they ran a scam based on an old legend, but it’s real! The crooks follow Prof and Red to a valley and find stacks of gold items, lug them away - and are ambushed by the Challengers. Pounded, they learn the artifacts are gold-painted. They were tricked! Ace examined the cauldron and found traces of explosives. Prof and Red pretended to be enslaved. Prof used magnets to make spears fly. Gold paint did the rest. The natives get back their sacred shield, and all is well.

Challengers of the Unknown [Ace Morgan; Rocky Davis; Prof Haley; Red Ryan]; June Robbins; An alien lawman; Five time-lost warriors; J'kal (villain); Monstus (villain)
Synopsis:
In a small town near Challenger Mountain, five time-lost warriors appear: a gladiator, knight, Babylonian, cave man, and Viking. The Challenger battle and bind the warriors, trucking them back to HQ, but the warriors fear Challenger Mountain. A monster burst into the headquarters and snares everyone. Plunked in cages, the Challengers meet J’Kal, an alien, who scoops up people for his private zoo with the aid of his monster, Monstus. J’Kal plucked the warriors from different times and places. The cave man lived right here in Challenger Mountain! Ace takes June’s boot, rips off the heel, and shorts the power with shoes nails. Prof and June split to fetch a plane. The Challengers get snared by J’Kal and Monstus - until an alien lawman freezes the monster with a ray gun. The aliens are stalemated, when Prof swoops down in a jet spraying bullets. The lawman binds J’Kal. He’ll return the warriors to their own time, and they wink away.
