- Porky and Bugs are supposed to take Petunia's cake to a contest at the county fair. Porky leaves the cake with Bugs while he goes to see Elmer's carrots. Bugs ends up eating the inside of the cake and puts what's left over Elmer's hat to cover up his crime. The hat-cake causes a commotion at the fair, when the judges can't find a knife sharp enough to cut it.
