Wraparound cover.
Poem with illustration. On inside front cover in black, white and red.
The story features the notorious panel in which Bumbazine, a black child, is shown eating watermelon.
Art originally credited to Morris Gollub, but Rick Richmond says Gollub did not join Western until 1946. (Error report 9437, 2013-11-10)
The art is signed in the foliage in the last panel. Hames Ware and Mike Barrier examined this comic in March 2013 and under magnification discovered the name is George Avison, who was Al Avison's father. As far as is known, this is George Avison's only comic book work.
