Indexer Notes

This story continues Bolling's running gag about Mr. Weatherbee's car, and how it's fated to get a dent in exactly the same place every time.

Synopsis
A talking owl narrates this story of wanting something "so bad you can taste it." Archie desperately wants the status symbol of a Wheezinblatt cassette player for his new car, but can't afford it. A scruffy-looking man on a motorcycle offers to sell him one for only $20. Archie buys it, but soon after he has it installed, he learns that Mr. Weatherbee's car was robbed and the thief got away with a Wheezinblatt player, just like the one Archie has. His sense of guilt and fear that the player might have been stolen starts to overwhelm him.
