Indexer Notes

Keith Chandler : Dan Gormley is suggested as artist, presumably on the evidence of the JVJ card attached to the online scans. But a comparison with other, signed, Gormley stories (e.g. 'Gang Busters' in Popular Comics (Dell, 1936 series) #70) make this unlikely.

Artist signature spotted by Jim Vadeboncoeur, Jr. Platt signs - as 'Kin' - in the final panel.

Platt was previously suggested as writer, but (other than an ambiguous Black Terror entry) Bails' listing has him solely on pencils and inks for his serious work at this period. In subsequent years he apparently wrote the humorous and funny animal strips which he drew.
