The the first-ever manifestation of the "Super Goof" concept.
Two full-length figures in a teaser for the interior story. Art is not by Paul Murry. The Phantom Blot is drawn without his now-standard eyeballs peering through his black cloak, calling back to his original 1939 appearance. Black and white on inside front cover.
While this is the first ever mention of the "Super Goof" concept, this early version of Super Goof is not the character from Super Goof (Western, 1965 Series), who is powered by "Super Goobers". Here, Goofy is only dressed up as a super-hero and self-fooled into thinking he has powers, which he doesn't.
Super Goof appears next in Donald Duck (Western, 1962 series) #102 (July 1965), followed by Walt Disney's Super Goof (Western, 1965 series) #1 (October 1965).
Title given to this story in 2021 reprint. Pantomime. Black and white on inside back cover.
Color on back cover. The front cover image is repeated on the back cover, sans logo and all cover copy.
