Jim Starlin confirms he did not do this cover, as he was not assigned cover work this early in his career. He contends the inks are by Frank Giacoia and not Mike Esposito and the pencils are unknown. Per Starlin's conversation with Shaun Clancy (28 August 2015).
Possible Abel pencils per Nick Caputo, December 2017. Nick originally credited Starlin with possible pencils. Nick notes that contrary to Starlin's recollection he actually did pencils covers in this period as the signed cover of Amazing Adventures # 15 published the same month as My Love # 20 confirms: http://www.comics.org/issue/25621/. Starlin also provided cover roughs for other artists to follow, such as the cover to X-Men # 78, October 1972. He may have done the same in this instance.
Nick further notes that cover inks may be a combination of Esposito and Giacoia, who often worked together in this period.
Script credit of Gary Friedrich, Jim Starlin pencils, and Jack Abel inks confirmed by Jim Starlin, as told to Shaun Clancy (27 August 2015).
Jim Starlin's first published professional work.
Romita is listed in the credits, although Nick Caputo suspects that may be an error. Giella may have assisted Giacoia on this story.
