Synopsis
Esther and Speedy are on the outs because of their arguing. Speedy tells Maggie he can't talk to anyone the way he talks with her. 'Litos threatens some Dairytown boys who warn him that Speedy should stay away from Rojo's woman. Rojo and friend confront Speedy and tell him to stay away from Esther. Rojo's friend punches Speedy and draws blood. Blanca swears she's kill Maggie if she turns out to be Speedy's lover. Esther is ready to leave town but Vicki kicks the waiting Rojo out. Speedy runs Rojo off the road with his car and makes a move on Chivita, who refuses out of fear of Blanca's wrath.

Synopsis
Humberto's intense study of the classic European painters continues. The large book Guadalupe is carrying to school is taken by tree monkeys. Maricela gets away from Guadalupe with enough time to kiss Riri. Chelo begins the process of interrogating dozens of people for the murder of Adolph Munkres. Luba and Khamo have been holed up with each other in a sexual frenzy for two days, leaving her in a euphoric high. Tonantzin's eccentrities continue. Archie realizes his relationship with Luba is over. Humberto goes to the waterfront to practice drawing but witnesses Tomaso seemingly murder Chancla.
