Indexer Notes

Script identifiable as Doyle by his style as well as his love of references to old songs.

Songs referred to in this story include "Birth of the Blues," "What's New," "That Old Black Magic," "Bill," "Love Is a Many-Splendored Thing," "Blues In the Night," "Ol' Man River," "Without a Song," "Bye Bye Birdie," "The Sound of Music," "The Star-Spangled Banner," "Stranger In Paradise," "I Don't Want To Set the World On Fire," and "On a Clear Day You Can See Forever."

Part of a series of surreal "Archies" stories influenced by The Monkees and the Beatles' "Help!"
