Dog and bear characters are consistent with those in Singer’s signed art from Barnyard Comics #2 and Monkeyshines Comics #2 (1944). Singer’s signed cover for Hap Hazard Comics #8 (April 1946) also shares several artistic details with the story, including long beads of sweat, vibrations surrounding the body, puffball clouds and stars flying out from energetic movement, and how the onomatopoeia of sound effects such as “WHAM” are drawn.
