Issue Notes

Cover code: 10011-712. On-sale date from 1967 Periodicals, Copyright Office, Library of Congress.

This is the only issue of the 743-issue run of Walt Disney's Comics and Stories (1940-2018) to have its front cover and all interior story content (including the illustration for the issue’s text story) penciled by a single artist – Tony Strobl.

If Steve Steere is presumed to have inked the cover, instead of Larry Mayer, this would be the only issue of Walt Disney's Comics and Stories with art by a single penciler/inker team.
