Thinking that Weapon X is trying to crack his armor and infect the world, the two Alpha Fight him. They later learn that he is trying to commit suicide and that he has removed the virus from Aurora. They still attempt to save him anyway in order to get him the help he needs. When the bomb is set to detonate above ground, Weapon X holds the delay button on it and sacrifices himself so that the bomb can detonate underground.
