John Romita Sr. wrote that he worked very closely, page by page, with Larry Lieber, in laying out the story and assisting with the pencils, on this issue.

John Romita, Sr. has indicated that he worked very closely with Larry Lieber on this annual, page by page, including the pin-up features "A Day at the Daily Bugle", "Peter Parker, the Super Sports Star!", "Where It's At!", and Spidey as drawn by other artists. The exception is the "Here we go a Plotting" feature, for which Romita did layouts that were then redone by Marie Severin.
John Romita Sr. did preliminary layouts for this feature that were then completely redone by Marie Severin. According to an interview with Marie in Fans of Central Jersey, she wrote this story, which was edited by Stan Lee.
