The original printing of this two-page text story was spread over the front and back inside covers. This reprint is repositioned to pages 3 and 4 of the issue’s centerfold. Despite being on interior pages, the single illustration remains in black-and-white as if it were on an inside cover.
Oddly, the fox in this story is not a predator but an innocent and unwitting customer of Rudy's "robot chicken eggs".
A rare, if not singular, instance of Jim Tyer signing his comic book work. Tyer's signature appears in a box at the lower right of the final panel, that would normally contain the words "The End".
Tyer Touch: In a panic the two bank robbers actually climb one of the panel gutters, clutching the gutter on both sides as if it were a fireman's pole.
