Synopsis:
During a celebration of Brainiac 5's birthday, several Legionnaires are poisoned. While Superboy and Duo Damsel struggle with telling their parents, Karate Kid heads out on a suicide mission in search of the Fatal Five. Karate Kid disrupts their plans, then returns to Legion headquarters, where all the Legionnaires seemingly drop dead.
