Unfortunately the high intelligence turns out to be trouble and Joe returns to get the Professor to reverse the effect.

In the opening panels, Joe and Janet discuss their troubles with a vitamin ray that made them four inches tall and a beauty lamp that made them invisible. However, the vitamin ray story from Archie's Mad House #21 featured Professor Sy Klops, not Professor Transistor.
