This cover minus the type was used as a promotional flyer for Sadie Hawkins events throughout the country from 1951 thru 1953. The Sadie Hawkins portrait is the "standard" portrait used whenever the history of Sadie Hawkins' Day is repeated. The Li'l Abner figure is from page 17, panel 2 of the story. Unable to find the source for the Daisy Mae figure in this issue.

Synopsis:
The history of Sadie Hawkins' Day is recapped. Ole Man Mose makes his usual vague prediction about Li'l Abner's fate. Marryin' Sam schemes to make money from the bachelors by selling them escape devices while at the same time selling devices to help the women catch the men.
