Indexer Notes

Byline changed from "by Gabby" to "by an Old Ranny" and the dialogue balloons also change every instance of "Gabby" to "Ranny."
This version has slightly altered artwork from the "Gabby Hayes" version--for example, the face of Gabby (especially on the first page and most notably on the next-to-last panel on the last page) has been changed so that "Ranny" looks less like the real-life Gabby and more like a generic old-timer. The final panel also has a caption box added.
It is possible that even the "Gabby Hayes" version was a reprint, since Jack A. Warren's comics career was largely in the 1930s and 1940s.
