Last panel is a letter from Dingle stating that the writer of the most interesting letter will get an original drawing of Nelvana.
Crooks was 12 years old and noted as a $5.00 cash prize winner for her story. Artwork is signed with what looks like MK in a triangle.
Oddly enough, a Google search for Crooks comes up with a listing for her obituary, "DINGLE, Margaret Joyce Crooks "MJC"; 72; Stanford CA; San Mateo T; 2002-8-17; jch" (see http://obits.rootsweb.ancestry.com/). Possibly Crooks was somehow related to Adrian Dingle?
