A tie-in with the launch of the "Josie and the Pussycats" cartoon on CBS.

Because the Hanna-Barbera cartoon did not use the idea, Alexandra's magical powers are dropped as of this issue and she goes back to being just a regular scheming mortal. Her powers would make a brief comeback in the early '80s.
