Issue Notes

Starting in this issue, this title switched to a "giant" 52-page format costing 25 cents. Around this time, Archie Comics adopted this format for most of its non-monthly titles. This experiment would last until mid-1974, at which point all Archie titles reverted to regular 36-page format (even the ones that had been giant-sized to begin with).

The Pussycats can't get gigs at a local club because all the female customers are upset about the effect Melody's fabulous figure has on their boyfriends. Women are even protesting outside the Pussycats' pad, with protest signs reading "Ban the Body" and "Restrict Melody's Movement." But Josie and Valerie see a solution to their problem when they realize that Alan M. has the same effect on women that Melody has on men.
