- Synopsis
- Lawyer Stan wants to marry reporter Lilli and move from the city back to his hometown and open a law practice. Lilli wants to be "a famous newspaper woman...married to one of the best lawyers in the country," and she leaks a story calculated to get Stan a partnership in his firm so he will stay in town. Instead, Stan is fired and breaks up with Lilli. Lillie also loses her job and goes to work for a small town newspaper. One day, Stan shows up and they reconcile.
