Writer Steve Skeates begins a two-part story that is completed by Bob Haney in the next issue.
In the Titan's Companion (TwoMorrows, 2005), Steve Skeates says "I wrote the first thirteen-and-a-half pages [of Teen Titans #32], and then the rest of the story was written by Bob Haney." Skeates apparently wrote a script for the entire issue, as Mark Waid later provided some pages of it to blogger Alan Stewart. Haney did use some of Skeates dialog, but rewrote some of it (particularly Mal's).
