- Synopsis
- Eileen meets Dennis at the train station. Dennis comes back from war and Eileen must tell him that she met Homer while Dennis was away and will marry Homer. Dennis only knows that Eileen once eloped with Herbie Damrot who turns up in town as Eileen prepares for her wedding. Eileen calls on Dennis to help her get rid of Herbie and his blackmail. After they both fall in the river, the scandal cannot be hushed. Homer still wants to marry Eileen but Eileen confesses she loves Dennis. Yet, Dennis is leaving town and Eileen promises to wait for him to come back when he is ready and sure of her love.

- Synopsis
- Madge is coming home on a bus, sitting next to Sam Nevins when the bus goes off a ravine and 18 die but Madge saves 6 people and also pulls out Sam from the wreck. Sam does not survive and Madge commits a crime of opportunity when she takes the $9,000 from Sam Nevins's pouch. Madge is hailed as a hero. A week later, Rod, Sam's son, comes to visit Madge to thank her for her rescue attempt and thinks the money burned in the accident. He starts dating Madge. Madge is full of remorses. A month later, the survivors thank Madge by giving her a check for $10,000. She gives the money to Rod to make up for the $9,000 and admit her crime. The story ends with Rod away and hopes for the two of them to get back together one day ...

- Synopsis
- Laura lives in a small resort town and hates summer residents, calling them "outsiders", which includes the recently moved in Dr. Chelsen. Despite their dating, she refuses at first to let him treat Jimmy, the delivery boy, when he is run over by an outsider. Eventually, Jimmy gets better and Dr. Barnes, the local M.D., straightens up Laura about the benefits the town derives from the summer tourists. Laura is able to catch Dr. Chelsen just in time at the train station.
