In Paris, art painter Philip Rhodes is a failure. Though warned by Fate, he indulges in a satanic deal with the forces of the supernatural. Rhodes gets to be famous, but is overcome by a mad urge to kill.

A congregation of werewolves, zombies, vampires and other monsters meets in a castle. They invite all mystery writers there and kill them - so they won't reveal any more secrets of the supernatural. Walter Lawson escapes the fiendish plot and manages to destroy the evil society - by crashing his plane laden with chemicals into the castle.
