Synopsis
Art student Pam falls in love with her teacher Gil, but is jealous of the attention he pays to fellow student Fran. To outdo Fran and impress Gil, she enters one of her famous father’s paintings in a contest, claiming it is her own work. Learning Gil isn’t romantically attracted to Fran, Pam confesses the truth to him. However, Gil had withdrawn her entry and submitted a painting she had actually done earlier. Pam wins the contest and she reconciles with Gil.

Synopsis
Nurse Lila falls in love with Dr. Roc, but her poverty-stricken childhood makes her ask Roc to give up his research and go into lucrative private practice so she can have “the beautiful things of life.” He refuses and they break up. She dates rich Bryce, then moves on to wealthy Dr. Wylie. Lila and Wylie go on a tropical cruise. An epidemic breaks out in a nearby country, and Roc flies in with his new serum. Lila gets off the boat and joins Roc. They will be married.

Synopsis
Model Wini is married to photographer Robert, 5 years her junior. They have a child and he wants her to retire to be a housewife and mother only, but she thinks it’s because she’s too old (she’s 31). Wini is jealous of Romona, a younger model who has taken her place in Robert’s work. Wini overhears Robert turning down a job for her, saying she’s still beautiful and he loves her, but “I believe as a mother, her place is at home!” She apologizes to him for her mistrust.

Synopsis
Artist Peter, son of the court chef, attends a royal ball in Syllania and dances with Princess Ilene. They fall in love, but he fears they can never be together. After a week’s idyll, Ilene says she must marry Prince Hubert. Peter departs for Paris, and is shocked when Ilene renounces her title and goes with him.
