Characters
Fred Lewis; Harriet Beecher; Tina Barry; Mr. Barry; Mrs. Barry; Miss Johnson; Rand Ayres
Synopsis
19-year-old Tina wants to be a model, so she moves to the city and stays with her aunt Harriet, a former model herself. Harriet is 35, and is dating Fred, head of the ad agency for whom she had worked. Tina flirts with Fred to advance her career, and steals him from Harriet. Tina then falls in love with Rand, a younger man. Fred says “you’re too shallow and ambitious to love anyone but yourself.” Rand dumps Tina. Tina reunites Fred and Harriet, who get married, and Tina hopes “one day love will come to me again.”

Indexer Notes

Harriet Beecher is the sister of Tina's father, so presumably her last name should also be "Barry." Perhaps she took a professional name, inspired by Harriet Beecher Stowe, the 19th-century author of "Uncle Tom's Cabin."
