Indexer Notes

Sgroi is an unconfirmed credit on Monte Hale by Jerry Bails' Who's Who. This could well be one of his stories, as the horses point to that, and several of the faces too. The face of Monte seems to be drawn much the same way Edmond Good did it, so at first glanze it points to him, but horses, faces and movement point to Sgroi. He is quite familiar from several Dell comics, like Gene Autry and Range Rider. The inking is a little uncertain.

Indexer Notes

Pfeufer is credited only on inking Tom Mix by Jerry Bails' Who's Who, but Bill Black has credited Pfeufer as penciller and Jordan as inker in Master Comics #96, and the art here is exactely identical.
