Synopsis:
College student Hazel has had a problem with jealousy since childhood. After one date with athlete George, she becomes angry when he dates other girls. Hazel vows to change her ways. Learning of this, Jim returns and they reconcile.

Synopsis:

Kathy discovers her own career now seems boring--she realises a woman must support the man she loves even if she disagrees with his life choices. She asks Ray Mann how to win Tommy back. Ray prefers to have Love Diary readers do his work for him, requesting their advice via letters.

Synopsis:
The Marshall family—unemployed chemist father, mother, and 3 children, including Amy—find work in the Shay orchards. Amy’s father tries to convince Frank Shay to invest in his locust-killing formula, but is rejected. Amy falls in love with orchard foreman Dave. Frank makes advances to Amy and orders the family to leave when she rejects him. However, after her father’s chemical saves the orchards from a locust infestation, Shay apologises for his actions and agrees to back Mr. Marshall financially. Amy and Dave will be married.

This story is very similar to “Fruits of Promise” in Flaming Love (Quality, 1949 series) #3 (April 1950), although the conclusion is different.
