Bruce calls Ellen a “cheap little tease.” She tells Howie the truth and they break up; Ellen also stops going around with Myrna and tries to become a decent girl again. Bruce says she is now worthy of his love.

One day, a man and his pregnant wife ask Betty for assistance because his car broke down on the way to the hospital. Betty helps successfully deliver the baby. Afterwards, she tells Stanley she’s not afraid anymore. They soon have a child of their own.
