- Synopsis
- Aircraft factory worker Marge gets a lift after her night shift from fellow employee Mark. She makes it clear she’s not a “pick-up” and he agrees. They fall in love but he has to leave town for 5 months on business. While Mark is gone, Marge accepts a ride from Doug but after he makes a pass at her, she vows never to accept lifts from strangers again. After Marge hears Mark is engaged to another woman, she allows herself to be picked up once more. This time, she is badly beaten and nearly raped. Mark visits her in the hospital and says he is engaged: to her.
