Synopsis

Synopsis

Lance returns and introduces Peter as his son--Kathy realises she loves her husband for his "depth of character and strength."

Mavis is beautiful but throughout her life is often ignored because people think praise will make her "conceited" or that she already gets enough attention. Other girls are jealous and boys just want to use her as arm candy. Artist Kurt sees her inner beauty as well. When her face is damaged in an auto accident, Kurt says she's still beautiful: because he loves Mavis, she hasn't changed a bit in his eyes. Kurt and Mavis get married.
