Synopsis:
When the Countess Elsia stands up Baron von Tepp for a dinner date, he decides to send his troops to get her, and she narrowly escapes and nearly perishes before Blackhawk can save her. However, all the efforts of Blackhawk cannot save the Countess. Then and there, the Blackhawks decide to track down von Tepp, better known as "The Butcher" (because he loves to just kill people for the Führer) to avenge them and the late Countess.

Letterer credit per Mark Evanier in the Archives edition. Mark Evanier states in the Archive edition that Alex Kotzky appears to have assisted Crandall on his early Blackhawk stories. The Who's Who lists Kotzky as a Blackhawk artist from 1942-44/47.
