The previous indexer tentatively listed Luis Dominguez as the painter of this cover. Richard Gagnon confirmed this is the work of George Wilson (May 11, 2023). A summary explanation of difference in technique in Wilson and Dominguez's painting: Wilson uses colour washes extensively, while Dominguez paints from dark to light, starting out with a dark background and building lighter areas on top, often using fine brushstrokes, almost like stippling.
